About The Course
The Advanced in AI Audit™ (AAIA™) course at Sapience is an intensive, instructor-led program designed to prepare experienced auditors to become leaders in the emerging AI future. As the first advanced audit-specific artificial intelligence certification from ISACA®, this course goes beyond foundational knowledge.
Building on the expertise of CISA®, CIA (IIA), or CPA (AICPA) holders, the program empowers auditing professionals with the skills to confidently evaluate the proper governance, design, development, and security of AI solutions within an enterprise.
The course is structured to align with the AAIA job practice, featuring a variety of knowledge checks, case studies, activities, and discussions. This ensures you can apply complex AI audit concepts to real-life business scenarios, preparing you to lead audit and assurance activities in an AI-driven environment.

The AAIA Exam Preparation Course covers the following topics:
- General Examination Information

- LO1: Design compliance organizational auditing program and processes for AI solutions, in alignment with organization’s strategy, internal and external requirements

- LO3: Recommend improvements for compliance processes to strengthen the organisation’s internal controls in auditing programs for AI solutions

This Advanced in AI Audit™ (AAIA™) course is specifically designed for experienced audit professionals looking to expand their audit capabilities into the specialized domain of AI, ensuring proper governance, design, development, and security of AI solutions. This program is ideal for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Active CISA, CIA (IIA), or CPA (AICPA) Holders: Professionals who possess a foundational certification in audit or accounting, indicating a strong understanding of audit principles.
- Proven Experience in IT Audit or IT Advisory Roles: Individuals with established experience in auditing information technology systems or providing IT-related advisory services.
- Some Expertise in Auditing, Assessing, Implementing, and Maintaining AI Systems: Professionals who already have a degree of familiarity or direct involvement with AI systems in an audit, assessment, implementation, or maintenance capacity.
- Language and literacy proficiency level : Minimum 3 GCE ‘O’ Levels Passes including English or WPL Level 5
- Required years of experience in relevant domain : Minimum of 1 year of working experience.
Certification Examination
Candidates who successfully completed the course and pass the exam will be allowed to apply for formal AAIA accreditation from ISACA.
About the examination:
- Complex Multiple Choice Questions.
- 90 questions.
- 2.5 hours duration.
- Scaled Score between 200 to 800 Marks.
- 450 Marks required to pass.

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Sapience Consulting.
