SkillsFuture Credit FAQ
What is PSEA?
The Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) is a government initiative designed to support Singaporeans in achieving their educational goals. Automatically opened for all eligible citizens, the PSEA allows individuals to save for post-secondary education expenses. It’s a testament to Singapore’s commitment to lifelong learning and skills development.
Who is eligible for PSEA?
Singaporean citizens born on or after January 1, 2002 are automatically enrolled in PSEA when they turn seven years old. The account is closed when the account holder reaches the age of 31.
How do I apply to use my PSEA funds for Sapience courses?
To utilise your PSEA funds for Sapience courses, you’ll need to submit an ad-hoc withdrawal application (using your SingPass) for each individual withdrawal.
Important Note:
- You will need to confirm your eligibility and check your PSEA balance by contacting the Ministry of Education (MOE) directly:
- Phone: (65) 6260 0777
- Website: https://www.moe.gov.sg/
Is PSEA stackable with SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) and SSG funding for training course fee?
Yes, you can stack PSEA and SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) funding to offset the cost of your training courses. This means you can maximise your government support and potentially reduce your out-of-pocket expenses significantly.
By combining these funding options, you can invest in your skills development without worrying as much about financial burdens.
