Refund & Withdrawal Policy

In order to facilitate planning, ensure appropriate allocation of resources, and guarantee the successful delivery of our professional training programmes, please take note of the following policy rules regarding course acceptance, participant conduct, scheduling adjustments, and refunds.
01 Acceptance to Course & Attendee Conduct
Confirmation of a secured position in any scheduled programme is strictly subject to the satisfaction of the following two conditions:
- Full and Successful Payment: Settlement of all course fees, as well as any outstanding payments due and payable by the applicant to Sapience Consulting Pte Ltd (herein known as "Sapience").
- Written Validation: Official receipt of a confirmation email or physical confirmation letter issued to the applicant directly from Sapience.
Once accepted into a course, the participant's attendance at the initial session indicates their binding agreement to:
- Fully meet and satisfy all specified course prerequisites prior to attendance.
- Strictly adhere to course schedules, timings, and milestone agendas.
- Exhibit proper professional conduct to facilitate a supportive learning environment.
- Refrain completely from engaging in harassment, physical/verbal aggression, or abuse of any kind.
- Ensure the appropriate and responsible use of learning resources, as well as the physical or digital facilities where the course is conducted.
- Respect the intellectual property and copyright protection of the course delivery and all associated learning materials.
- Attain the minimum required course attendance (typically 75% or higher depending on guidelines) and complete all learning benchmarks to remain eligible for graduation and subsidies.
Additionally, participants agree to assist fully in the completion of all required administrative paperwork, including course feedback, evaluations, and subsidy claim forms, where applicable.
02 Fee Liability & Refund Milestones
For withdrawals initiated by participants or program changes, refunds of the aggregate amount of fees paid will be calculated in accordance with the official schedules below:
Please Note: In the event of a breach of the terms stated within the *Acceptance to Course* section, Sapience reserves the right to remove any participant from its courses immediately without any refund liability.
03 Participant Substitutions & Withdrawals
To request a withdrawal, transfer, or participant replacement, the registering party must issue a formal written notice to Sapience. Communication must be submitted through one of these formal, validated channels:

Contact your assigned Sales Account Manager directly via phone or official email.
Participant Substitution Guidelines: Sponsoring organisations can substitute course participants at no additional admin fee, provided the notice is received at least 3 working days before the course commencement. Sponsoring parties must guarantee that the replacement participant meets all specified course eligibility criteria and prerequisites. Replacement requests received less than 3 working days prior will not be considered.
04 Financial Terms, Provider Rights & Disclaimers
Late Payment Interest
Interest shall accrue on any late invoice payments at a rate of 1.5% per month, calculated on a daily basis from the specified due date of the relevant payment until the final date full payment is received.
Sapience reserves the right to cancel any course application or remove participants if full payment is not received by the invoice due date.
Provider Administrative Rights
Sapience reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or make necessary adjustments to the date, time, and/or venue of any course, with reasonable notice given to participants. Every reasonable effort will be made to inform participants immediately of any scheduling conflicts or adjustments.
Indemnity Agreement
By registering for and participating in any learning event, both the individual learner and their sponsoring organisation agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sapience Consulting Pte Ltd, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, and representatives from any and all third-party claims, losses, liability, damages, and/or costs (including reasonable legal fees and costs) arising directly or indirectly from participation in the learning event or the active use of course materials.
05 Data Collection & Policy Updates
Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) & Media Release: Please note that photography and/or videography may take place during any course run. Photos, screenshots, and audio-visual recordings may be utilised by Sapience for internal reporting, compliance audits, and general marketing purposes. In keeping with the smooth administration of professional courses, Sapience reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these policy configurations from time to time. The latest official policy version will remain updated and accessible directly on our website.
